Phish Tour: Tyler Stout

By Jimmy Tolan / Author

I have eagerly been awaiting the time that I can finally say, that this has all been utterly wonderful!  But now we are on our way to the Austin 360 Amphitheater in Austin, TX, where Phish mozied  their way on into town for the tenth show of their summer tour.  Tyler Stout brings us his splendidly imaginative style of art, being the fifth artist to take control of the reigns on the Conestoga Phish poster wagon.  Tyler originally was originally going to go the classic Texas route of barbecue and bulls, but he instead shifted his focus to something more jackrabbit inspired and less bovine.  At the bottom he added a watch clock with the time stopped at 7:31, which also was the date to the July, 31st show itself.  With the right amount of southern charm and Phishy-ness mixed together, we are lucky to have yet another admirably alluring piece to add to our collections. It runs at a size of 18×24 with a limited edited of 650 of the show prints.  More of Tyler’s work can be seen by clicking here and be sure to sign up for the mailing list.
